Not Martha
Nope, not Martha Stewart, don't even try to be. I wish I could be really crafty, though. I always look at things and think, "Oh I could make that", but then I'm too chicken to try. Anyway, I've made two things lately... These two bowholders. One for a baby gift and one for a birthday present. I think they turned out okay.

Entertaining themselves
The other night while Anthony and I were hanging my new purchases on the wall, the kids decided to entertain themselves:
And yes, those would be my couch cushions on the floor.

Not a decorator
My friend Alise is an interior decorator, and hopefully she will think my purchases and placement of those purchases look okay. Ha!
I had these pictures hanging above our couch, but moved them to the entry hall. I do like them there. Now, I needed something to hang in place of these. So, I put this: Now, I'm also not a photographer, so the coloring is off a little. That one section looks like it is purple? It's not. It's brown. There's also the glare. And one of my candles is on crooked! I would've liked to shown you the couch underneath it, BUT my husband was lounging on it playing the PS3 and I was in his way. You can see a picture of my couch here though. Next, was my mantle. I liked how I had it (somewhere I've got a picture of how it looked...maybe I'll look later, if I find it, I'll let ya know.) but wanted something different. We did this: Okay, remember, I'm not a photographer, the glass thingy that has the green in it, is crooked, why? Because it's sitting on top of some glob of wax from my candle that use to be there. I should've fixed that! I also bought a picture of a "R" and it looks great in my kitchen, but I couldn't get a good picture of it without a huge glare. ANYWAY...there you have it.

Gift shop
Carli brought back so many sea shells from the beach that I think we could open a gift shop and sell them. Ha!
She loved them and didn't want to throw them away, so I washed them
and put them in a glass container that I already had, then stuck it in the kids' bathroom. She gets excited everytime she walks in there and sees them! I'm glad that I didn't throw them away!

Hang time
Friday, my friend Melissa, her son Braeden, and her baby girl Charlotte came over to hang out. Carli and Braeden, who are a month a part, have fun playing together. In these pictures, they decided to lay in Carli's bed and watch Toy Story. They're so cute! I wish I would've gotten a picture of sweet baby Charlotte. Next time.

'Round town
We try to go somewhere everyday or every other day to get the kids out of the house. It doesn't have to be something major. Lots of times it's a fast food place, walk around a store, or just drive 'round town. Anything.
On Wednesday, we all went to see the waterfalls in the Galleria area of Houston. So pretty! I would've loved to take great pictures of my children looking so perfect, in front of these falls...but nah...no one was interested! :(It was soon lunch time and we were wantin' some Mexican food (ya like how I took the picture of the side of the wall from the inside of my car?) We LOOOVE to eat!On our way, we saw this: Why was I the only one in the car that was excited about seeing this? I was so giddy!
