Riddle

Since I've got no new pictures, no new stories, no new updates, no new give aways, and I really wanted to do a post, I thought I'd post a RIDDLE! Not really exciting, but it's something! Check back tomorrow for the answer. Yes, you have to wait until tomorrow! You could leave a comment with what you think the answer is.

"Maybe she's born with it?"

I think that could be the title for this post or, " She's got legs..."
Whatever the title, check her out. She is head over heels (get it, heels? lol!) with her new dress up shoes! She gets up in the morning and puts them on. She wears them all day long. She's gotten really good at wearing them.
She can even run in them. She especially likes to run in the kitchen to hear the loud sound they make on the tile. Maybe tap dancing will be in her future? Oh, and I caught her jumping off the couch with them on too! How does she do it? Maybe she's born with it?
She loves her ABC's.
She reminded me of someone with the short dress (well, Carli has on a nightgown), heels, letters...(Vanna White. She needs no introduction!)
It's getting really girly in this house! But it's so FUN!

HI HO HI HO...

IT'S OFF TO PRESCHOOL I GO!
Today, I start back to work! I'm working at the Mother's Day Out Program where I worked before I had Carli. I will still teach the young three year olds in the same room I had. I'm sad that I won't teach with Miranda anymore, but Rose and Lisa are great. Rose has a son that is friends with Tyler, so we've been friends since they were in kindergarten. Carli will be in the young two year old class right across the hall from me. I know she'll do wonderful! Classes don't officially start until Sept. 5th, so when it does, Carli and I will go on on Wednesdays and Fridays. All of this week is just orientation, training, and getting our classrooms ready. A little side note: a very good friend of mine growing up in Bryan...his little girl will be in my class! Small world! I'm really excited for this school year! I think it'll be fun!

HAPPY First Day of School!!

Ahhh, the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!! WOO HOO!!
This morning, we all seemed to get up pretty well. Only Tyler had first day jitters, no surprise there! He starts a new school-MIDDLE school, 5th GRADE! But, he's also my worrier, about everything! Austin started the EIGHTH GRADE (this is his last year in Junior High School) and was very ready for school, so he can see his friends!
Today was a day of "firsts". Aside from the first day of school, it is the first time that we don't have a child in elementary school and the first time ever that I did NOT take my boys to school. They each rode the bus! I CAN NOT BELIEVE IT! I felt SO weird! However, the one thing we did do that we ALWAYS do is...Anthony and I (along with Carli) went for our 9th Annual Back to School Breakfast Date! It's always my favorite thing. It was good for Carli too. She was a little quiet after the boys left and kept saying, "where's the guys?", "bus, school?" After our breakfast, Carli and I went to Target and got the car washed, by the time we got home, it was lunch and nap time. So, I kept her busy! She'll be so ready for the guys to get home from school!
I hope everyone has had a HAPPY First Day of School!
I think these next two pictures are my new favorites!

AND, last but not least, TODAY is my Aunt Dee's birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Have a sweet and blessed day!

Happy Birthday Shawn!

August 24th is my baby brother's 29th birthday! Shawn, we hope you have a wonderful, blessed day! We love you!

Make room for baby!

Here sits Carli's empty highchair at dinner time: This is where she prefers to sit instead!
It was SO funny when we were all about to sit down to eat and I was going to put her in her highchair, she ran to her room and brought back her chair and plopped herself right down at the table with us!
We decided that it may be time to finally buy that bigger kitchen table!

And the WINNER is...

CONGRATULATIONS! You will receive a gift card from this great store! I'm pretty sure I know your address, so be looking for it in your mailbox!

FYI: As you can see, I put everone's name into a bowl and Tyler drew the name. Joni, I entered you once. Next time I'll have the rules listed :P Also, Joni (always the trouble maker) I LOVE receiving comments, however, this was not an attempt to see how many I can get, just a celebration of how many visits we've had to our blog! I had over 40 visits yesterday and only 10 comments. It's a lot like when I tried to do the rolll call post; that day I had over 30 visits and only 2 comments! And, Tiffany, I entered your name even though you were a tad late, but I read your blog too and it's so cute, I just had too! Girls,Thank you SO much for entering! Don't be sad, I'll be doing this again from time to time!

GIVE AWAY!

YES, A GIVE AWAY!
In honor of 1,000 visitors to our blog (since May), I decided on a little give away! You HAVE to LEAVE a COMMENT and then I will randomly draw a name to decide the winner! You have until midnight tonight to enter. I'll have results tomorrow and show you what the gift is! You're gonna want it!!!

Happy Birthday Chris!

Anthony's baby brother, Christopher, is 18 YEARS OLD today! SCARY-he's legally an adult now! WOA!
A phrase I say on a daily basis, " Man, they grow fast", will be used again today. How did this baby boy get to be 18? I remember meeting him, not quite three years old, with a big ol' smile on his face...if you know Chris, you know he always has a smile on his face. He's only four years older than Austin. Chris went everywhere with us. He was more like the boys' brother, than uncle.
Christopher, we love you and are here for you always! Have a wonderful day!

LAUGHING...

HYSTERICALLY!!!!!
Because I have nothing better to do, but play on the computer...I saw this on someone's blog and decided to do it too! I really can not stop laughing!!!
Haven't you wondered what you would like in different eras?
1950 1960-my favorite one.
1970
1980
1990-I was 16 years old then, so I looked similar to this!
And, OH MY GOSH, we had to do Anthony too!!
1950-My favorite!

1960
1970
1980

1990-Anthony was 17. I don't think he looked like this.
Okay, I know you're laughing hysterically too, and dying to do your own...GO HERE!

A look back...

This time next week, the boys will be on their second day of school. On September the 5th, Carli will start Mother's Day Out. So, I thought I'd take a look back at this time last year...

Man, the time sure does go by fast!

Rain rain go away...

and the SEIZURES TOO!!!

We've got thunderstorms today, so we're stuck inside. I decided to clean my house, do laundry, and get the kids' back to school stuff organized. Well, that's not gonna happen. Austin has had a few seizures today and could possibly have more. If you click on this post, you'll read more about his seizures. I guess we could be adding tomato to our list of foods he can't have?! No tomato (spaghetti sauce, pizza, ketcup) foods this week to see if that's another cause of his seizures. Once Anthony gets home, we'll sit down and discuss any other items Austin will not have this week. We need him seizure free...school starts in a week!

ANTHONY's POST!

Yes, you read right, Anthony's post! I think he got a little jealous after reading about his kids' favorite things and my shoes, so he had to do his own post. You know how he loves to post about matters of the heart! So, here's Ant-Man...
Okay, one of my favorite things is basketball, so I used to collect basketball cards a long time ago. Here is a small sample of some of my cards. Rookie cards of Kobe, KG, Paul Pierce, Tim Duncan, and then cards of the MAN HIMSELF, MJ! My valuable cards (MJ 84 Star Rookie, Kobe '96-97 Topps Chrome Rookie) are in my safety deposit box at the bank. YEAH! Check out the rest of some of my favorite things...... Now here are some of my favorite dolls, I mean ACTION FIGURES! Like my profile on XBOX live says.."I'm cooler than the other side of the pillow", but right now, I'll turn a little geeky with my ACTION FIGURES and say they are NRFB Baby! (Never Removed From Box. YEAH!)
More Action Figures of Kobe...more future $$$$$ from selling on EBAY also NRFB...
I found this on the store shelf and had to buy my own action figure...THE ANT-MAN! Stronger than Superman, and smoother that Spiderman...
I loved to read when I was a kid and still do, so I always read the Harry Potter books. I am a huge fan and just found out they are pushing the "Half Blood Prince" movie till next year instead of this Nov. BUM MER. Voldemort didn't want it! Now I spend ALOT OF MY TIME, after yard work of course (that's for U Joni), on my 360. My gamerscore is over 20,000 but I love the original GEARS of WAR. My friends online are very good, but since they won't ever read this, I'll say that I'm better. Gears of War 2 comes out in Nov. and since most of you who are reading this are girls...i guess you don't care, but if your man has a 360 he'll be ready for GofW2 just like me.
Now......my 360 needs to be hooked up to a sweet 52 inch High Def Samsung through an HDMI cable. Michelle normally wins all our arguments, but I had to get this and told her since I am the man of the house, I was going to get it and that was final. So after I cried just a little she said I could. Yeah, that's Keith O. on the screen and he and Dan Patrick made up "The Big Show" on ESPN that put ESPN on the MAP! "From way down town....BANG!"
To save the best for last, what I really love and care about are the ones you read about here everyday. My family...................Shell can I buy a PS3 now?
