Sweet suprise!
What a sweet suprise I got when I opened my door Monday afternoon! There stood a precious Annsley, that had rode her bike from one street over, by herself (usually it's with big brother) with a gift, wrapped and tied with pink ribbon. I asked who it was for and she said in her quiet little voice and a big smile, "For you! I made it myself!" I thinked I squealed and hugged her a few times, thanking her over and over! LOOK at this:
I've seen these domino necklaces around and thought I'd love to have one! Now I do, but this one is made with love by Annsley!

My Mother's Day!
Getting to spend the day with my babies and my husband, having them take care of me-a little day off-wonderful! We started off the day with church.
Excuse Carli. She was being a toot!
After a great service (which always is and always seems as if it was directed right at me!), we headed over to our hangout for lunch.
Then, after we ate, I got my Mother's Day gift...
YAY! ALL MINE! And I don't have to share! OH THANK YOU! I've never had a laptop, so this is taking a little getting used to. I've been having lots of problems with our desktop computer. It's old and It would shut down on me at least 4 times within the hour, it had old programs on it that no one uses these days, I could never open things when people would send them...etc. So, I have this now and I feel like I'm "with the times"!
Proud to announce that this post is being brought to you by this:
No more having the computer off in the middle of a post and no more forever taking to upload pictures!
THANK YOU Anthony, Austin, Tyler, and Carli for not just my gift, but for a wonderful day! I love y'all so very much! Thank you God for giving me these precious lives for me to take care of!
I hope everyone had an amazing Mother's Day!

Tyler's Birthday Dinner
I almost didn't think we'd do our annual birthday family dinner! You see, Friday morning, Anthony told Tyler that he would bring lunch to eat with him at school for his birthday (we ALWAYS have). Tyler said, "Well, Dad, aren't we going to all be together tonight for dinner? So, you can just drop off my lunch in the office". Later that morning, as he was leaving, I said, "Okay, have fun at school and smile real big when they announce your birthday over the announcements!!" he then said, "MOM, they don't do that! GOSH, it's Middle School!" So, we were a little bummed! He grew up way too fast! Thankfully, he wasn't too embarrassed or grown to go out with us, BUT he did want to bring a friend. So we obliged and he picked this wonderful place to eat!

It was a great time had by all! OLE!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TYLER!!!!!!!!!!!

11 YEARS OLD! My Tyler, Boo Boo Bear, is 11 YEARS OLD TODAY! Born May 8, 1998. 5:25am. 7lbs. 13 oz. My sweet, sweet baby boy! You always keep us laughing! You're a neat kid! You're a great student! A great friend! You're great little brother and a great big brother!! We make jokes about you being the "middle child", but jokes aside, you're really a caretaker with both of your siblings. You're a huge help around the house! (FYI: this kid is very organized! Likes everything straightened up around the whole house.) A wonderful son!! You make us so proud of you! God bless you! Have an AMAZING birthday today!!!!!!!!!!!

GAME ZONE
We celebrated Tyler's birthday a week early, due to Mother's Day being his birthday weekend. Tyler will be 11...11... 11...I'm sorry, I just keep getting hung up on that! Let's move on. His party, yes, his party. He is your typical middle schooler; he's all about the video games! So, that's exactly what he wanted to do at his party. Just have friends over to hang out, play video games and of course eat! He called it, "Tyler's Game Zone". He invited 11 friends (Yes, 11! And yes, they all came!) to come on Saturday the 2nd, from 4-9pm (that's 5 hours!). We set up in the living room. The main TV had the Playstation 3, the second TV had the XBOX 360, and the third TV had the Wii. Each boy was told they could bring their own controller and a favorite game of theirs. It was the funniest thing, almost everyone came in with a backpack full of the game stuff! We ordered pizza, and TONS of it, but I didn't get a picture because by the time the pizza made it to the counter, those little vultures scarfed it down!!!!!!!!!!!!
Each boy got a big box of candy for a party favor.

Popcorn for snacking!
Chips and just some of the sodas!
The beginning of the party. Not everyone was there yet.
I got pictures of mostly everyone, but I didn't want to overload the post with pictures of boys STARING at the TVs!

Anthony played most of the time too! I had to remind him that it was TYLER'S party! :)
Tyler and his triple chocolate cake and sparkler candles. He DID NOT like everyone singing to him!
As many boys as we had in the house, for as long as we did, it was a wonderful party! Everything was exactly the way Tyler wanted! Perfect!
Tune in tomorrow for my Boo Boo Bear's Birthday post!

A show and a party!!
Last Friday, I went to our town's high school drill team's spring show. I love to watch dance shows, dance recitals, and dance competitions. The girls did a great job! Especially, Racheal! She's an officer and a senior this year. She is the daughter of my friend, co-teacher, Rose.
Sunday afternoon, Carli attended Bradley's baseball party.

And the trophy goes to...
AUSTIN! WOO HOO!
Last Wednesday, Austin had his award ceremonies for baseball. What a great night! It was at the church that helped sponsor. There were so many teams ( I think 16?), that they had two ceremonies before ours'. At the begining, there was a table that had pictures of your child that the photographer had taken, for you to just take, free! We got a great one of Austin batting! I'll have to scan it soon, so I can post it. Then we went in to sit down. The preacher from the church (who I found out was the announcer at their game and he is the one who gave every child their nickname!), was about to start the ceremonies, but the first words he said were, "Now, this is all about the children. Let them talk, let them clap. Don't try to make them be still and quiet" Wow! That was so good. It took pressure off of you to make sure they sat there and be quiet. They then recognized the local college softball team, who raised lots of money and the bikers, who raise over $10,ooo. Then they called each child's name (Austin "The Ram" Ramirez) to come up and receive their trophy! Man, you should've seen Austin's eyes when they called his name!!
Next, was a slide show of the practices and game.

Austin's "Thank You" gift to Matt.
Austin and Matt. Still over joyed at what a sweet young man this is. He had TAKS the next day, but he came to the ceremonies. Matt said that he will let them know that he wants to do this again next year and to let them know he'd love to work with Austin again!
Such an amazing experience for everyone involved!
