VERY VERY SPECIAL DAY!

39 YEARS ago, TODAY, this beautiful baby boy was born.

21 years later, I would get to marry him!

18 YEARS later, we celebrate that day

and also reflect on what a wonderful life we've had thus far!

We used to feel vaguely incomplete, now together we are whole.

Our Valentine's Day

I have no pictures of my lovies on Valentine's Day!

Time was not on our side yesterday morning with getting ready for school and taking pictures of them with their valentine's gifts.

For dinner we had pepperoni rolls...YUMMY! Always a favorite.

 After the littlest lovies went off to bed, Anthony and I had dessert!

 I enjoy when the kids are asleep and we can have our time together.

Oh, what's that picture of? Well...that would a box of candy that TYLER bought for a girl!

 Just can't believe my baby boy bought a valentine for a girl he likes.

 Let's move on...

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

Kinder Valentine's Party

Today was Carli's Valentine's Party!

 I was SO looking forward to helping with it. I LOVE being at the kids' school helping!

 Being Valentine's, it's only appropriate to have a build your own sundae party!

 Listening to the student teacher reading a book..she looks so interested huh?!

Looks tired here...maybe coming down off of the sugar high.

Since I helped with the party, they had lots of treats, plus their Valentine's, I didn't do class gifts this time. I did do a teacher gift and student teacher gift.

I was glad they did the party today instead of actually on Valentine's Day, which is Tuesday. Good way to end the week.

I wanted to document just how SHY NO MORE Carli is!

Just look at her behavior yestersay! Today, she did a little bit better. She got a smiley face. She told me that her teacher had to seperate her and her little girl friends! OH MY!

She brought home this Valentine today that she made for Tyler.

She loves outside so much! She really loves leaves, flowers, rock, and SNAILS! She thought this "baby snail" was "precious!"

Hopefully tomorrow at her Valentine party I'll get an actual picture of HER!

100 days of school

Can't believe the kids have attended 100 days of school already!

It's so cute when they're in elementary school and they celebrate that 100th day!

So Miss. Carli was anxiously awaiting this day!

She kept saying that she's "100 DAYS SMARTER!"

Oh and she IS! Uh, so precious!

We headed to the craft store to gather up supplies for this special day.

Carli is extremely crafty.

She knew exactly what she wanted.

For her shirt, she wanted "warm fuzzies".

Her teacher uses pom poms as warm fuzzies. When ever someone gives a compliment to her class or they're being sweet to each other, it gives her the "warm fuzzies" and the pom poms get put into a jar. So they all want to fill the teacher's jar with warm fuzzies, so they're on their best behavior! 

Isn't that super cute?! 

Her poster, she wanted these heart stickers. In the shape of a heart.

Just like a little girl...LOVES hearts, pink and purple, stickers!

I was really proud of her for doing the poster completely ALL BY HERSELF! Every bit of it!

Her shirt, I helped her with a little.

I wish I would've been able to get a picture of her. ALL of my kids are going through a "no pictures" phase! It's bothering me!

When she came home from school yesterday, I said, "Carli, why did you bring your water bottle home? It's suppose to stay at school."

She said, shaking her head and rolling her eyes, "MOM, it's the 100th day of schooool!"

I told her, "Yes, but you'll need it for school the rest of the week."

Carli, hand on her hip, " WHAT? School's not over? AW COME ON!"
