He's 17!

Austin had a wonderful first day of being 17!We had pizza for lunch! Mexican food for dinner! Birthday cake and presents!!
Anthony is out of town this week for work, BUT he drove in for Austin's Birthday dinner! YAY DAD!He wanted a new alarm clock!Now you know that the majority of Austin's seizures come from food. Fruit mainly. We do let him eat quite a bit of things he shouldn't, but fruit we never give him. This boy hasn't had a banana in a long time...would you believe that's what he wanted for his birthday?!?!?!Bless his heart! He was so excited! I'll keep you posted on how it went. He is going about 2-3 weeks without a seizure and some of those times aren't near as many in a day as before.

He was precious!
He went to bed really early the night before because he said, "Tomorrow's the big day! I need my rest to be a year older!"
Another thing he said, totally out of the blue, on our way to dinner was, " You know how on the Prisoner of Azcaban, Harry's time machine necklace? Well, if mom had one, we could all use it to go see her mom." We were so surprised he said that!

Our three kiddos have all had their birthdays in the past six weeks. Hopefully it'll slow down around here now.
I still can't believe that Austin is 17! Tyler is 13! Carli is 5! WOW!!!

How have I been a mommy for that long? Well, no matter how long it's been, it's pleasure being able to have him! Challenging, sure. Honored though that I was picked! He's so sweet and funny!

I believe that I could fill every wall in every house in America with the amount of pictures I have of Austin! But could you blame me...look at how handsome he is! Cool and smooth from the beginning! Loves to pose for the camera!Oh my he melts our hearts!

Parent's Night Out!

It was a PERFECT night in downtown hanging out with our best friends!We ate, drank, and saw almost everyone in the world! We laughed so much my face hurt!

Father's Day

We spent Father's Day at the God parents' house. Bart Grilled. We ate. A great time was had by all! Bestie Visit!

I was so ecstatic yesterday! I got to see my best friend Claire and her kiddos!We grew up next door to each other and have been besties since we were three and five years old! She lives out of state, so she's here visiting family in Texas. We don't go too terribly long without seeing each other, but still it's long! We hadn't seen each other since October, when I went with Claire for her 20th year class reunion.Carli and Harrison hadn't seen each other since May 2010 when they played at the mall together.And I hadn't gotten to hold that baby girl Kaitlyn since May 2010!
I don't know when Claire last saw my boys?
So, we were all very very ready to see each other!

Kaitlyn was adorable toddling all over the house. She's 16 months old.
Claire and I had good conversation.

Claire-Bear, though there are no pictures, I will, like all our other visits, remember this one. I love you and your precious little ones. I get such a kick out of H and how he's such a little man!He's so funny and well mannered! K is so petite, pretty and sweet! They are exremely smart! You're a terrific momma!

LOVIN' My Scentsy!

When I say I am LOVIN' my Scentsy, I REALLY MEAN IT!I love picking what scents I'll be putting in each room! Oh, and of course our cars, it's a must! I have a scent circle and Anthony has a travel tin.My purse with the all important fragrance foam! Gotta keep those hands free of germs!
