Spring Break- Monday

Monday came and it was time to leave, but not before visiting with Aunt Dee and Uncle Bob (I never got a chance to grab my camera to take a picture of them!), and then one more time with Uncle Able and Uncle Chris!Austin and Mimi.Carli, Tyler, and Mimi Anthony and Mimi.
We had a good visit in B-Town; we just wish we were able to visit EVERYONE we know and love!
On the way home, we stopped and shopped at the outlet mall! Stay tuned for more Spring Break posts!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BART!

Our best friend BART is having a birthday today! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BART the FART! HAVE AN AMAZING DAY! WE LOVE YOU!

Spring Break-Sunday

Sunday, we woke up to Austin running fever. He had a little bit of a cold Friday night, but it was now getting a little stronger. He stayed at Mimi's house and slept most of the day. Anthony, Tyler, Carli, and myself, went to get Grandma (Ant's mom, Mary)! If you know Mary, you know that for a woman that does not drive and needs help with walking, she is ALWAYS out on the town! She likes to go everywhere! So, of course, that meant we ALL went to one of her favorite places, Walmart. She also wanted to go out to eat! Grandma and Tyler

Ant wanted to eat country fried steak, so where else would we eat?

We also enjoyed the company of some life long friends! David, Veronica, and their two sons, Adam and Kevin, who are the same age of our boys! Us girls, V and me! She makes me laugh! Good times! I just wish I didn't have to wear my glasses that day! You know if I have them on it's because I absolutely had too! I didn't have anymore contacts left and they were being ordered! :( Oh, but look at our cute baby boys...

Kevin and Tyler! They both have on glasses too! TOTALLY TWO PEAS IN A POD! OH MY! They really cracked us up! I do believe that "Mini George Lopez" would suit them both!

I wish I had gotten a picture of Adam! So handsome! WOW! I think they said he was 5ft. 10in. tall?David wanted a picture with Carli...no such luck!So he whisked her away to get her an ice cream cone! She started to warm up to him after her third cone! She kept dropping them and he would go get her another one! David, you're too much! We had a fun time reminiscing with them! Next, it was on to the Ely's! Bart was at work, but we still had a good ol' visit with Deyanira and the kiddos! Miss Emily!The crazy boys: Sam, Tyler, and Christian.

We went back to Mimi's to check in on Austin, who was still under the weather, eat dinner, and go to bed. Monday we would need to visit more and then head home.

Spring Break-Saturday

Saturday morning, while Tyler and Austin stayed at Mimi's house, Carli and I went with cousins; Melanie, Monique, and Monique's little girl, Arlyssa (7) to the NAIL SALON! Oh yeah! Pedicures all around. THANK YOU MELANIE! WHAT A SPECIAL TREAT!Carli decided that Monique would be the one to paint her fingernails! :)

Arlyssa! Carli and Arlyssa- FABULOUS fingernails! Arlyssa has the prettiest nail beds! Look at them! TOES! Carli, Aryssa, and Melanie's!Then, we went over to Tia Cuca's house where she had LOADS of CLOTHES for Carli! THANK YOU TIA!!! The girls had such a fun time playing!Having snack!OOOHHH and the TATTOOS!!! Carli got three: two hearts and a turtle (MIRANDA! SHE LOVES TURTLES!)

When we were all done there, we went back to Mimi's house. Anthony was on his way. He had to close the bank that afternoon.

Spring Break

Thankfully we are on Spring Break right now! We SO needed this time to chill out and relax! We're also thankful that Anthony is off this week with us! I don't think he's ever taken off work during our Spring Break? I have LOTS to blog about, which means I have LOTS of pictures! I think I'll just do a little bit of posting everyday about our break, instead of one giant post. Okay, enough rambling!
Our little vacation started off last Friday. As soon as the boys got home from school, we hit the road and headed North to: Sorry again Bryan and Hearne folks, but I love this funny logo and feel the urge to use it every time I can!! The drive was not as pretty as the scenery...Look at the BEAUTIFUL Texas Bluebonnets and Indian Paintbrushes! They're along the highway this time every year.

Yes, I DID take the picture as I was DRIVING!!! I know I should've stopped, but Carli yelled and cried the whole trip, so I was in a hurry to get to Bryan!

We always say that this is the first stop when we get to town:

We made it to Mimi's house and stayed the night. The next couple of days would be busy visiting friends and more family! Tune in tomorrow for more of our trip.

Our cousin Penelope is having a birthday today! WOO HOO...she's 19! Nena, we hope you have a TERRIFIC day! ENJOY! We love you!

Resemblance

Last Saturday, with the weather being so cold and rainy...YUCKY, we decided to stay indoors and watch movies. Just be LAZY! We watched this movie. We've seen it several times before, but this time we all kind of thought the same thing...

Just us girls!

The first weekend in March, Anthony and the "guys" (that's what Carli calls her brothers), headed to Bryan, leaving Carli and I to have some girl time. So what did us girls do? SHOP, what else?! We headed over to my friend, Jennifer's house to pick up her and her daughter, Janessa. Her husband and sons were also gone out of town. We loaded up my car and away we went. We went to a couple of stores and then went to dinner.

Once dinner was over, we needed to go to another store...The girls had so much fun! I found these puppies, on sale for $1.99! YES! $1.99! We took Jennifer and Janessa home, where we played for a little bit. The girls were not ready to stop playing together. They had a great time! The next morning, we went to church, where she was NOT the best well behaved child! Thankfully, I could hear the sermon from the hallway, visit with another friend who was out in the hallway too, and was able to go back inside at the end for Communion! We came home for lunch and nap. Later that afternoon, we went to a birthday party.Carli waving to the mouse! She had a blast!Her favorite food was served!The birthday boy, Elijah (Janessa's brother).

Tokens in hand ready to go play games!Oh the slide may have been what she played on the most!This girl played so hard! When the party was over, she kicked and screamed the whole way to the car! Not even telling her that her Daddy and her guys would be home when we got there consoled her! She wanted to stay at "CHUCKIESSSSS!!!!!!" Despite her behavior at times, it was wonderful being just us girls!
