Teacher appreciation lunch

Last Friday, our PTA at our school brought back the fabulous pasta guy. We had subs come to our rooms, so that we could go down for 30 minutes to eat our lunch with no kids and visit with our friends! We walked in to Italian music playing, flowers candles, and the pasta guy to make our lunch! We told him what all we wanted in our pasta and then he cooked it right there for us! It really was so nice! We each got to take the candle voltives home as a gift and the gigantic flowers were a drawing. No, I didn't win it, sure wish I had! Salad, pasta, and cake balls!
All that was missing from this excellent lunch was wine and then a nap!Ha!

Preschool Birthday

Last Friday, Carli had her birthday celebration at school. She had been eyeing all the items in that birthday box for some quite time and had been talking about what she was gonna get when it was her turn. You'd think she would've picked from the many girlie, princess, jewelry stuff, but nooo...
A LITTLE YELLOW RUBBERY FROG!!!!She was SUPER HAPPY!!!! She brought cupcakes and picked out her napkins... Yep, Sponge Bob Square Pants!
and a matching yellow cupcake to go with it!
She wore her birthday crown all the way till bedtime.
Such a fun day for her.

A SWEET 4th BIRTHDAY PARTY!

On May 15th, Carli had her Minnie Mouse Donut party! It was suppose to be outside on her new swing set that she had gotten the day before, for an early birthday present, BUT there was an insane amount of rain that day! Insane I tell ya!
So, we moved in inside! These pictures are of 1) Anthony and I with the boys six years ago at Disney World. 2) Anthony and a coworker, with Tyler, eight years ago. It was Halloween and there bank dressed up as Disney characters. The girls got hair bows (they match the one Carli is wearing) and the boys got baseball caps.Drinks.The spread.Wanting to wait outside for her guests, but it was sprinkling!Once her guests arrived, they had so much fun playing together outside of school. They were all so cute together!I took a couple of pictures, but I'm still missing some of the kiddos. Oh, and her "favorite friend", "BRAAAADY" was even there too!Carli had an absolute blast!!!! She keeps saying, "I had a great party!" and "I can't believe all my school friends were at my new house!" When we ask her what her favorite thing about her party was, she says, "EVERYTHAAANG!!!!"
It really was a fun time for her. Rain or shine!

AAANNND, Thank you ROSE for letting me use your Criket and for sitting with me as we made hair bows! Love you!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARLI!

She's FOUR folks! FOUR! Our little princess is FOUR! I'm a little weepy, but man is she so happy! She's been talking about this day for the past two months!
She brings us so much joy!
She loves:
Her Babydoll
M&M's
dough nuts, tacos, pizza, french fries, strawberries, pickles, coke, and milk
to sing and dance
do crafts
play dough
dress up
puppies and kitties
My Little Ponies, Barbies, the Disney Princesses
Lip gloss, getting her toenails and fingernails painted, jewelry
anything pink and purple or sparkly!
Such a girl! But you can also tell by some of her ways she's got big brothers.
She's so imaginative! And we just adore her!
She had a party at school on Friday and then a birthday party yesterday. She's on cloud 9!

HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY SWEET CARLI!!!! WE LOVE YOU!

Tyler's Main Event

Saturday, May 8th, Tyler's 12th Birthday party was at Main Event. The guys all played pool, laser tag, and video games.Tyler said that he had so much fun and that it was awesome! I believe part of that awesomeness was his present from us. Ha!

I really wish you could've seen every single boy there, get out their cell phones at the exact same time to get Tyler's phone number. It was so funny!
He's been begging and pleading for over a year for a cell phone and he really had no clue he would be getting one!
He's taken to it quite fast, as expected! It's just taken this ol' mom and pop a while to get use to him having it!

Happy Birthday Tyler!

Today, Tyler is 12!
12!
I say this with every child, every year, but it's true...WHERE DOES THE TIME GO? Why can't we just freeze time, just for a little bit?!
Wasn't it yesterday that he was born? Our "Little Boo Boo Bear"! To me, he's always going to be this two year old, "T-Rob", with hardly any hair and sucking his thumb.Reality is though, he's now a pre-teen! Finishing 6th grade, heading to Junior High next year! He's our middle child, but he's definitely stepped into the role of being the oldest/taking responsibility without anyone asking or telling him. He just has. He's a caretaker! He's a sweet boy! Funny boy! He's beautiful in every way!
He's Austin's "Bro"!He's Carli's "Ty Ty"!Tyler, We love you very much and are proud of you! We are all extremely blessed to have you in our lives! HAPPY 12th BIRTHDAY TYLER!
Now go and have an AMAZING DAY WITH YOUR FRIENDS!

Jumpin' and Slidin'

Carli went last weekend to a friend's birthday party. I took lots of pictures, but they all came out blurry. The girls were to0 busy and FAST jumpin' and slidin'! As you can see, she had a blast! Her shyness is always an issue when we go places, so I was wondering how she would do. I was really pleased with how well she did! But, when it came time to go into the party room for cake, she got very shy and upset. We left the room for a little while and she returned when the birthday girl was opening gifts. She was fine then. We are working with her on her shyness and she is opening up more-baby steps. Proud of her!

Sweet treats!

What a day of sweet treats!
I walked into my classroom to find this from my Secret Prayer Pal! M&M's, my FAVE! Then, I see this in my teacher mailbox: Another FAVE! My friend Kathy's cookies!
And last, but certainly not least:
A MOTHER'S DAY gift from my precious Carli! It sure is sweet, although not to eat! Can you tell what it really is? BATH SALTS and on top of the shower puff is a bath bead! I wish you could smell it! It smells wonderful! Yah, totally cute, I know!!! THEN, I get home to check my mail and there is Carli's dress that I had ordered for her party on the 15th. There's no picture of it. You will have to wait until I do a party post! Let me tell you , it too is so sweet!
It's the little things that can surely brighten your day!

I really am going to post pictures of my house. It's just been busy around here. I have some pictures taken already, but there's more to take. Also, it's hard to get the house cleaned and stay that way long enough to get pictures! :) Second, for us, May is like Christmas. Two kids' birthdays, Mother in law's birthday, Mother's Day, and then end of the school year functions and gifts for all three of the kids, plus me. So hold your horses a little longer!

Partyin'

A couple of weekends back, Carli had two birthday parties to go to. They were both of her little classmates. The first was at Chuck E. Cheese, always fun! Didn't get a chance to take one of her and the birthday boy. Later that afternoon, it was on to a Chippettes themed party at the gymnastics place. Did Carli do gymnastics? Nope. Too shy, but did play at the end with her friends. Carli and the birthday girl, Megan. Carli and her friend, Rylee.
With all of these parties (in fact, she has another one today) and her friends turning the big four, she is SO ready for her birthday party! It's all she talks about! I admit, I'm excited about her party too, just not the turning a year older part!
