"Scentsational" time

Last night, I hosted a party for my friend Rose, who sells Scentsy candles. I only took TWO pictures! Wish I would've gotten more. You know, when I'm around food, friends, and shopping, I forget to take pictures. Oh and throw in a newborn baby to hold, and I really get nothing accomplished! Ahhh, a new baby, nothing sweeter! Anyway, you have to check out these candles. AWESOME! We haven't closed out my order, so if you'd like to order, let me know. This is a picture of mine. The color of it looks nothing like in this picture. It's really a brick red color. It looks great in my house! I have three different scents: Clean breeze, sugar cookie, and honey pear cider. I do plan on getting more warmers and of course scents. You so need one of these!
You'll thank me!

Science Fair

Tyler had a science fair project that he had to do for school. They really stress that the child do it themself. Okay, that's hard for Anthony and I. Me, being all crafty like and Anthony loving anything school. But, Tyler did it; last minute, but he did it. He picked the difference in skateboard wheels. Does cheaper skateboard wheels make a difference? He tested three different skateboards.Aparently, sister needed to be out there assisting. Finished project.

Saturday Family Fun

Saturday morning, we woke up to what was left of our snow day Friday. Still quite a bit actually. After daddy made his Saturday morning pancakes, we dressed for the day and went to our outdoor mall. Tyler is in the choir at school and they were performing at the Barnes and Noble there. This is the only pic he would let me get. I took lots of him during the performances, but none of them turned out good. Why? Because he was purposely hiding behind taller people so I wouldn't! Shocker!Once we were done there, we hung out, ate Cinabon, walked around.
Check out Carli...MAD! She was wanting to go watch the ice skaters, but we were waiting on daddy to bring us our food, so we told her we would later.Then....she spotted the carriage rides, so she was yelling at the horses to "COME BACK HERE! We told her that once we were done eating, we were going to ride them. Finally, she said, "I quit! I give up!" and she went and sat like this! She didn't even eat!See, we got to ride!Nice little carriage ride. Carli and I loved it! The males in our family, not so much! This girl. DRAMA! She was SO happy to be on it, but as soon as it was over...MAD! One last shot of the girl horses. It was a fun family day. The weather was great! When we were done there, I dropped the fam off at home and I did some Christmas shopping, by myself. So nice and relaxing!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!

The above picture is the view from my classroom of the playground at our preschool. Below is Carli's class gazing out at the snow! Carli is the last one on the right.Pictures of our backyard.
Nothin' says Christmas like SNOW! On Friday morning around 7:30 am it started raining, then at 8am, SNOW! Real snow! Big snow flakes! Lots of them! Anthony was already at work and the boys were already at school. Carli and I reluctantly got in the car and headed to work/school. There were several students out but the ones that were there and the teachers, were so giddy! We stayed at the windows watching the snow come down more and more and actually sticking to the ground and piling up. The school district called for early release...YAY! Carli and I got home first and we played and played in the snow! She loved it just like last year! She didn't want to come inside. We went in to dry off and warm up while we waited on the boys. Austin loved the snow! He kept saying, "do you like the blanket of snow?! I sure do!!" However, he didn't want to go out in it. Tyler however, just like his sister, came straight in, dumped off his stuff, and headed out and stayed out for a couple of hours. A mom of a friend of his even had them cookies and hot chocolate. So nice of her. Seven boys, dripping with snow/mud in her house...yes, nice! When we were inside, it was so nice to snuggle on the couch with Carli, watching cartoons, while looking at the snow falling outside! It continued to snow until late evening. We then ordered pizza, watched Frosty the Snowman and baked brownies. Now it's all gone and we definitely miss it! But, THANK YOU God for blessing us with such an awesome day of snow and happiness!

Tuesday, the girls got together for some play time, while Lindsay went to the dentist. As always, they had fun! These were the only pics of the busy girls that I could get.
Also that day, with Olivia, came baby sister, Julia. OH YAY! I felt honored to watch her. Aside from family, I was the first person to watch her! She was a doll! She stayed in this exact posiition the whole time! Never woke up! I should've woke her...
They were some sweet girlies!

It's beginning to look a lot like...

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this time of year! Celebrating the birth of our dear Savior, the lights, colors, smells, the traditions, and oh ya, my birthday! REMINDER: It's on Christmas!
I have everything decorated inside of the house and outside. Here are pictures of the inside of the house. A post with the outside will have to wait till next time. That would just be way too many pictures right now.
Alright, so here's a holiday tour of our home:Kitchen:Laundry room:Kids' bathroom:I even have another container with decorations, but I just don't think I have the room in this house for all of it. Every year the decorations just multiply. LOVE IT!

YAY, he's back!

Our dear sweet Elf, Dash came back to stay with us! He first came last year and we had such an enjoyable time with him! For some reason, Carli was a bit afraid of him when she woke and found him-not sure why? Now, she loves him and wants to be a very good girl so each night when he reports back to Santa, he'll tell him that she was a good girl!

Special Sunday

This past Sunday, the 29th, was a special Sunday. It was Tyler's first time to acolyte at church! It was at the traditional 8:30am service. We normally go to the 10:30am contemporary service. Tyler was a bit nervous. We didn't get a picture of him in the robe and cross...camera died! :(He did a good job and we were proud of him!
