We decided to do our celebrating Saturday instead of Friday. Austin had some seizures Friday. He's been having them the past couple of Fridays. Not sure why, could be he's just overly tired from the school week?
Friday morning, around ten, my doorbell rang. I opened the door to find Anthony standing there holding these beautiful roses! What a wonderful surprise! I love flowers and the yellow makes me want to hurry and see spring!Saturday, the five of us went out to eat at Cheddar's.Carli changes as soon as we get home, every time! Usually it's to her heart dress, but she does have a couple of other sundresses. We came home and had Oreo cookie cake and ice cream! The birthday boy had to blow out his candles first! It was a terrific time! I loved celebrating Anthony's 38th birthday and our 17 years together!I love him and our life we have together and I thank God everyday!
And, we want to both say thank you to everyone who called, texted, and face booked, Anthony to wish him a happy birthday and us to give blessings and congratulations! It made for even a sweeter day!

Special Day!
Today is a special, special day!
It's the love of my life's 38th BIRTHDAY
AND...
Our 17th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!
YES, 17!
I love you so very much!
Our babies also wanted to say:
Well, Carli did at first, then changed her mind...
actually, if you know your lil' Princess,
then you know, she didn't say it because the boys didn't do it HER way! Ha!

Happy Birthday Brandon
It's my baby cousin Brandon's birthday today! I can't believe he's all grown and MARRIED! I can remember his big brother, Jason and I at Mimi's house, waiting up for the call that he was born! Little Bran-dog, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! Love you!
Side note: One day, I'm putting Brandon's picture as a little boy on here, next to Tyler's little boy picture...they look exactly alike (and both funny too!)!

Weekend Ramblings
We enjoyed our three day weekend!
Friday however, was not so enjoyable. Austin had a few seizures that day. That night we just hung around the house and I headed to bed early. Seizure days are draining and you just want the day to hurry and be over with.
Saturday, Austin was doing better, just quiet and tired.
I had a Scentsy party that my cousin Melissa hosted. We had it at Grandma's house, since she had just gotten out of the hospital the day before. This way, she could be there. I have to show you this picture above first! It's of my first Scentsy order! It took absolutely forever to get here due to snow! I was so excited to get it!
Here are some pics from the party. I took pictures at the end because I forgot to earlier, so I'm missing quite a bit of people! :(It was a great turn out! Lots of fun AND, Melissa is getting lots of FREE PRODUCTS! Thank you Melissa for hosting, it means a lot!
Saturday night brought old school friends! We hadn't seen them in years! Robert and David (brothers). They're Anthony's best friends since childhood. David had his two little boys with him. Rocco and Lucas. Man, they are ADORABLE! Robert had his oldest daughter, Gabby with him. She's taller than me and so pretty! Hard to believe she's 19! Why must all these babies grow up so fast?!Anthony, David, Robert, then later Jim, all had a good time. All the kids did too!

Valentine cuteness!
I love holiday shirts. I was surprised that I didn't need to buy any Valentine's shirts for Carli. She has enough pink, red, purple, and heart clothes (tops bottoms, tights, socks, accessories) to be able to wear everyday for a month!I should've taken a picture of her everyday in her "heart outfits", as she calls them. I only have these three. This particular day, Carli was over the moon! Her daddy was taking AND picking her up from school! He's never got to do that since Carli went to school where I worked. Funny story: Before she started at her new school, Anthony told her that his bank is two blocks away from her school. Well, that thrilled her and she tells every teacher she sees, "my daddy works TWO blocks away!"
The SHOES! OH TO DIE FOR! One year, a mom in my class gave them to me and Carli is finally able to wear them. Thank you Robin!
So, since I didn't have to buy any Valentine clothes, I DID of course need to buy Valentine bows!I mean, look at them, how could I not?! Nobody makes better bows than Rose!
And since St.Patty's is next, had to get one of those too (the shamrock is glittered-I love glitter)! The plaid bow Rose HAD to run out and buy the ribbon when she saw that Carli has a shirt identical to it! Ha! Carli's cute bow holder that her Aunt Kayce made her is full now, so Rose to the rescue...she made her another one.
She also sent her this precious Valentine gift! Thank you Rose for everything!
Hearts, Pinks, and Reds....Valentine CUTE-NESS!

Pre-K Valentine's
Princess Carli. M&M's for the Chapel/Music teacher and office staff. Bubbles for her friends.
All packet up ready to go.
Basket of goodies for her teacher.
Carli's Valentine party at school was too cute!It was a "Dress Up Tea Party". The girls could wear their dress up play clothes if they wanted. Well, you didn't have to tell Carli twice. She knew exactly what she would be wearing, down to the tiniest details! They served sandwiches, cheetos, fruit, and lemonade (which was served from a tea picher and poured into tea cups!) What FUN!

Valentine's Day 2011
No, your eyes are not deceiving you...there are only TWO pictures from Valentine's Day on here and neither are of my family! Not sure why I didn't take anymore? The kids woke up that morning to their gifts. That night, they all decided on a lovely dinner of Taco Bell.
Oh, here's one more picture. All you need to know is this bear and Hershey's kisses are for Tyler, FROM A GIRL! This momma is not ready to discuss this, so let's move on...
Hope you had a sweet Valentine's Day!

Weekend Ramblings
The weekend started off with me attending a funeral Friday afternoon. It was for Mimi's older brother, Emory. Although it was a funeral, it was good to see family that I don't get to see regularly. I think some of them were shocked to see me and forgot that I live here now.
Friday evening, the Ely kids came to stay the weekend with us. These four were inseparable!I took the fab four to the mall and out to eat. They played outside a lot. The weather was wonderful! They also watched movies, played games, made videos, and ate alot!A couple of snacks. White chocolate covered popcorn with m&ms andsnicker doodles! My only picture of Sam. It was quite a different experience this weekend with Sam. He had a few different things he had to do (including a school dance), so he wasn't home with us much.
What was so different is the fact that he has his own car. We haven't gone through this phase yet, so I was so nervous. He was very good by texting me each time he got to his destination and making curfew (Deyanira, he actually came home way before curfew!)
Sunday evening came way too quick! It's always fun to have these kids around! They're so polite, well mannered, and sweet!
