Christmas 2010
We hadn't spent Christmas here in four years. Carli was six months old. It was definitely different. The kids loved being around so much family on Christmas eve and day!
We woke up and did our Santa gifts and then got dressed to go over to my aunt Dee's house for lunch. My aunts; Diane, Terry, and Dee (mom's big sister). My aunt Terry and I.My cousin Candi and I. I haven't seen her in YEARS!!!!!! She is two years older than me. For the past fifteen years she has been working on a cruise ship as a choreographer. Her husband Sergei works on there as a gymnast. We were very close to each other growing up, so I was extremely happy to see her! There's eight of us cousins and so here's four of us. John, Jason, me, and Candi. We sure missed Jay, Brandon, Shawn, and Chad. And yes, I am the shortest out of my family! Jason's wife Joy with her three boys; Jaxon, Jenson, and Jace. Austin and Tyler there too. Uncle Don (Mimi's brother), Mimi, my aunt Diane, my uncle Wayne (my mom's big brother), and my uncle Bob.Cousins: John, Jason, Candi and her husband Sergei, and my uncle Robert (my mom's brother). Fabulous Jaxon!
What a merry Christmas we had! I also had a happy birthday! Thank you for my birthday wishes!

Christmas Eve 2010
Christmas eve started off with me baking, cleaning, and doing laundry. The sweet Ely's brought over gifts. Then headed on their way out of town. We were getting ready to have some kin folk over for a little Christmas eve party. After everyone left, we let the kids open a few gifts, then we put out the reindeer food, hot chocolate and cookies for Santa. It was after midnight once we got the kids to bed. They were so wound up! We had a lot of fun!

Dinner witht the bestie!
What a FUN night! So wonderful that I got to spend the evening with Deyanira! Her birthday is a week before mine and so we decided to celebrate with dinner out, just us two! Something we never get to do! She came and picked me up and we went to eat at Cheddar's. Afterwards, we went to a cute wine place. It may be my new place. Great atmosphere. So relaxing!Deyanira is definitely doing her part in helping me get back into the hometown living! We've had a great first week here! Our very first morning, she surprised us with Shipley's doughnuts, kolaches, milk, and coffee! We've hung out, her kids have spent the night here, and mine went over there while I did my Christmas shopping. I love it that she just pops in on her way to or from home, while she's out running errands. I sure love this girl!

Anthony's Christmas Party
Tuesday night, we had Anthony's Christmas Party for his employee's. We always have it at our home, but with us just moving here, we decided to have it at the Chicken Oil Co. It was fun and as delicious as I remembered! We also played the white elephant game. This is what I got:It just so happens, it's the gift I brought! Ha!
Tyler took our picture before we left. He was so proud!

Home tour...didn't I just do one of these?!
Everything is completely unpacked and put away! My garage is a wreck (you know I like a clean garage, so I'll be tackling that next week!), Carli still needs her swing put together, but that's it!The owner is redoing the flowerbeds, so it's a little bare now.I'm taking the valances down and putting up something different. See the poor little broken one on the left? The light above the kitchen table is being replaced by the one in the dining room. The dining room is being used as Anthony's man cave.I didn't get good pictures of my kitchen! The boys' rooms are next to each other and Carli's is down a long hallway. We figured the girl would want to be away from the boys and we were right! There are lots of pictures of her room because she was wanting me to take a picture of everything and with her in them! She was so funny!Part of their bathroom.I have to show you this cross. It's in my laundry room. Carli made it at school for our Christmas gift! It's made of wood. She painted it and glued the beads. I love it!This is the hallway to the laundry room, garage, and the master bedroom.I will show you my bedroom and bathroom soon. It was a mess, so it didn't make it to the blog today!
