House update

For the past week and half, we have have been slowly moving into the new house. The owners have been moved out since it was listed. We only moved over things that could be put into closets, cabinets, and drawers. Last Thursday and Friday, the painters came to paint the interior. I was so excited! It looks so great! The boys' bathroom and Carli's bathroom still need to be done. They currently have wall paper. That's a summer project. I then headed over Friday after the kids and I got out of school and cleaned. Then, Friday evening, Uncle Chris and his friend came, and it was our official
All the furniture was moved in over the weekend! Today and tomorrow, I will be at our old house cleaning. We close on the 31st on both houses. I can not believe it! I will post some pictures later this week! Promise!

Spring Break fun!

Although our Spring Break consisted of me being sick with a dreadful cold (fever, sore throat, etc.) I was able to pack up so much stuff and at the end of the week, we had some familia come to visit! YAY! GRANDMA, Uncle Chris, and his girlfriend, Megan. I didn't really take any pictures...sure wish I had! Austin had Grandma in his room most of the time watching Harry Potter movies, Tyler was all about the video games with his uncle, and Carli was attatched to Megan's hip and continually had her playing with her. We also went out to our favorite place:Of course we HAD to eat some fried oreos!We watched some movies:And what weekend would be complete without this:It was a great end to our Spring Break!

Dinner Date

The other night, I had a dinner date with my Tyler. A nice, quiet, stuff ourselves until we can't breathe, dinner at:It was really so nice to be able to have time with just the two of us! And it wasn't all that quiet, I mean, this boy can talk...I wonder where he gets it from?!

Special Olympics Basketball

Saturday, Austin had a Special Olympics basketball tournament out of town. It was a long, long day, but absolutely wonderful! So exciting! His team came in 3rd place in their division!They each got a medal. The trophy is for the team. Because each of the kids go to different schools in our town, they're each taking turns taking it to display it at their school. Austin gets to take it first, since he named their team! They're the Dinos, short for dinosaurs!These guys (and gals) played full court basketball! Lots of games. Played hard! We are so very proud!

Preschool Rodeo Day

Friday was rodeo day at school. Carli had a great time!I wish I would've gotten a picture of her stick horse they made...so cute! She did have her hair pulled back and and was wearing a cowboy hat, guess she was having too much fun playing at their "rodeo"!Yeehaw!

Spring Break

Our Spring break begins this weekend and it will involve lovely boxes because...we're packin' up the house. IT SOLD! The buyer wants to close on the 31st of this month. That's in 19 days! YAY!

A 1st Birthday Party

Saturday, after picking up Tyler from a sleep over and taking Austin to basketball practice, we went to a friends' little girl's very first birthday party!
Aw, Veggie Tale's...I remember like it was yesterday, Austin LOVING Veggie Tales!Miss Savannah, a little unsure about the pinata, but oh so cute!Here she was scoping out the paparazzi...I took so many pictures of her with her cake, trying to get just one without the swarms of cameras in the way. Finally Anthony grabbed the camera and was able to get this one.A good time was had by all! ( I have no pictures of Tyler, per his request).Even Carli had fun! The first half of the party she was upset, but finally warmed up! Must have been these cuties of Tara's! She was loving the trampoline!She told us that night, "my wish and dream is to have a trampoline AND a swing set!"Dave and Laura, thank you for inviting us. It was great party and....I didn't have the brisket! Ha ha!!

Busy Monday

Busy Monday?
No, not really...well, kind of?
I only teach on Wednesdays and Fridays, but today is a teacher in service for us. Good thing. I'll be busy working and hopefully keeping my mind off of what's going on at home! Our house will be going through So, here's praying that my lil' house behaves for the inspector and the buyer still wants it! :) Of course I'll keep you posted!

Hippitty Hoppitty

Some bunny is ready for Easter!
Yesterday Carli got these at the store and she's been wearing them non-stop! She even wanted to sleep in them because she told me they were "SO comfy!". She goes around the house saying, "Hippitty Hoppitty!" Silly bunny!

Lil' treat!

Forgot to show you...Here's a lil' treat I have set out (most of the times) when our house is shown. The first time Anthony and Tyler laughed when I did it..they stopped laughing because they see that they get eaten!

21 days

21 days after our house officially went on the market, seven showings later, we received this: A CONTRACT!
The person who is buying it, saw our house last Thursday night, while we were out celebrating our anniversary/Ant's birthday! Great gift if you ask me! The house we are getting is one that we've had in mind for quite a while, so we're excited to get this show on the road!

Celebrate!

For our 16th wedding anniversary/Anthony's 37th birthday, our family of five went out to eat. It was DELICIOUS! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!Afterwards, we came home and ate birthday cake.
The next night, Rose and her son Roland (Tyler's friend), came over and she watched all of my children! OH BLESS YOU ROSE! (Little fact: We have not gone out on a date in about four years! Yep, you heard that right!) We went to see:It was such a cute movie! We both really enjoyed it! We ate hotdogs and popcorn. Anthony had lemonade and I had water, since we gave up sodas for Lent! We got there way early and enjoyed the peace and quiet. We laughed and talked so much. As the credits were starting, we were still laughing, when the lady in front of us turned completely around to look at us! She didn't say to be quiet, but man could her looks kill! Did that make us quickly be quiet? Nope, it made us laugh harder! It was a wonderful time away together and we THANK YOU ROSE!!! She said the kids all did great!!!
